There hasn’t been much good news since the Coronavirus first started spreading late last year.
But finally, we have some good news, as a 100-year-old man has made a full recovery from the Coronavirus in China. He’s the oldest patient to make a full recovery and he did it despite his age and some underlying health conditions.
The Chinese man was discharged from hospital after 13 days of treatment alongside 80 other patients. The recovery is even more impressive as he’s based in Wuhan, ground-zero for the virus.
He was admitted on February 24 and despite underlying health problems including Alzheimer’s and hypertension, made a full recovery.
The 100-year-old Coronavirus patient was treated with antiviral medicines, traditional Chinese medicine and even “convalescent plasma therapy.”
Dubai Coronavirus cases rise
14 more cases have been confirmed by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) in the UAE. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 59.
12 patients have now made a full recovery in the UAE while the rest are currently being monitored ‘around the clock.’
