Dubai’s food and nightlife scene is to get a big boost when 13 new bars, pubs and restaurants open at The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah.
The two-story building called Food District will host 13 homegrown brands and venues with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. And they’ll all come with stunning views across from the record-breaking dancing fountains.
The first floor is the main hub with 10 venues. We’re already drooling at the idea of fresh fish at Dibba Bay Osters followed by sushi at Reif Japanese Kushikayiki.
Other venues include Sticky Rice and The Roost, while there are also two Bramble Bars. Alongside that, there will be a range of lounge seating across the venue and a live singer and show at weekends.
The ground floor, meanwhile, is all about coffee and ice cream, which sounds perfect. Head to Silk Gelato for all your cold treats and Boon Coffee for your coffee beans, sandwiches and pastries.
What we love most is that they’re all home-grown brands.
They’ve also got Covid-19 measures sorted and in place. Customers scan QR code menus to choose dishes and a buzzer then tells you when the food is ready to collect. Winner winner!
Food District at The Pointe opens daily on the ground floor from 9 am to 10 pm. The First Floor outlets will open midday to 10 pm Saturday to Wednesday and midday to midnight the rest of the time. And for those night owls, the bar will open until 2 am.
