2018’s Biggest Summer Party Is Happenning This Weekend!

Brace yourselves EDM fans! The biggest dance festival, Tomorrowland is going on and they’re simulcasting the event across seven cities, including Abu Dhabi, part of ‘Unite With Tomorrowland’.

Party animals, where you at?

From all the dance festivals in the world, it’s common knowledge that Tomorrowland is the real’ deal and tickets get sold out within hours. So, Tomorrowland is simulcasting the hallmark event across seven cities and Abu Dhabi is one of them! The simulcast event is happening from 28th July, 2 pm to 29th July, 2 am and what’s more, there’s a lineup of DJs performing live!

Marvellous line up of artists

Performing live from Tomorrowland on 28th July are EDM giants Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and the legendary Armin van Buuren, whilst the simulcast in Abu Dhabi will witness live performances by nine top-notch DJs: SmokinGroove, Barry Fore, DJ Licious, Marcus Santoro, Regi, Ummet Ozcan, D.O.D, Lucas Steve and Omar Basaad. Fun fact, Omar Basaad is the only touring DJ from Saudi Arabia and was part of Billboard’s list of the best summer remixes last year, for his remix of rapper French Montana’s song, ‘Unforgettable’.

Seven cities are hosting the simulcast

Big ups to Envie Events for bringing Unite with Tomorrowland to Du Forum, Abu Dhabi! Only seven cities are hosting the simulcast; Taipei, Beirut, Mexico City, Barcelona, Monza and Marsa. Last year, Dubai was one of the cities hosting the simulcast event, which was headlined by artist Martin Solveig.

Been a long way for Tomorrowland

What started as a local music festival in Belgium turned into a world renowned-gigantic dance festival, attracting the world’s biggest DJs and artists and an attendance of hundreds of thousands. In its first edition in 2005, it had an attendance of 10,000 and in the last edition, it had an attendance of a whopping 360,000. The festival has witnessed performances by EDM icons like Tiesto, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia and Avicii.
