4 day weekend ahead as Eid Al Adha 2022 dates confirmed

With the crescent of Dhul Hijjah sighted in Saudi Arabia, it’s been confirmed that Saturday, 9th July 2022 will be the first day of Eid Al Adha in the UAE.

UAE residents will also enjoy a public holiday on Friday, 8th July, in observance of Arafat Day.

This means that the UAE public holiday will kick off on Friday, 8th July and will continue until Monday, 11th July.

4 Day Weekend ahead

The holiday is usually a very busy time for the hospitality industry in the UAE. It’s also a popular time for travel.

With work only to resume on Tuesday, 12th July, there’s ample time to relax and unwind.

The translation of Eid Al Adha is Festival of Sacrifice. It is one of the most important dates in the Islamic calendar.
