Only in the UAE would you see a parade of 50 Lamborghinis driving across the country to celebrate the country’s 50th National Day.
But that’s exactly what 50 Lambo drivers have done as they’ve sped – presumably at or under the speed limit, of course – across the UAE.
And the group end their cross-country trek by driving up to the Burj Al Arab in convoy today.
Most of the cars have come from the UAE. But around 25 of the Lamborghinis have come over from Saudi Arabia for the road trip.
Along the way, the group drove across Ras Al Khaimah and Jebel Jais on day one. And then visited Marjan and Fujairah and Al Suhub Rest House.
They were then given a police escort into Khor Fakkan before arriving in Dubai.
“All the Emirates’ super sports cars were also supporting us. They were so happy with us and we were also respecting their requirements. Our intention was to show our Saudi friends and friends from other countries to showcase the UAE,’ said Usman Rehman who’s leading the Lamborghinis across the UAE.
Other drivers said they’d loved the response from other drivers and well-wishers.
Abu Dhabi Lambo owner Hisham Al Khateeb said “People want to take pictures with the cars, children want to take pictures inside the cars also. These cars with their sound and power give you a feeling of excitement. I wish everyone can have this experience!”
