These drugs were in car parts.
Colonel Taher Al Dhaheri, of Abu Dhabi Police, said, “The criminal network is being run by people from outside the UAE, targeting our country and our youth.”
One of UAE’s biggest drug seizures
This is one of the biggest seizures in the UAE. The last big raid before this mission happened in Dubai, under an operation called “Stalker.”
Two international drug smuggling gangs, called ‘DXB24,’ dealt with 365 kgs of drugs, worth Dhs 278 million. They hid drugs inside car parts and bags at a car workshop. The business owners ran a fake business, until Dubai Police raided the warehouse.

There’s zero tolerance for violators found dealing with narcotics in the UAE. The import, export, possession or storage of drugs can lead to a four-year imprisonment sentence, and a hefty fine of up to AED 50,000.
