Abu Dhabi Police arrest the ‘Poison Stones’ gang for drug dealing

Abu Dhabi Police have arrested four members of the ‘Poison Stones’ gang who tried to smuggle 600,000 Captagon pills into the UAE using concrete slabs.

The Police tracked the drugs and the Poison Stones gang to a warehouse where they recorded them loading trucks with construction material and a large sack of pills.

The footage then shows the Police smashing a concrete slab with a hammer to reveal a hidden hollow space. Thousands more pills then poured out of the concrete slabs.

This is just the latest big drug haul for Abu Dhabi Police.

Back in December, they found one million Captagon pills hidden inside lemons. The drugs were said to have a street value of $15.8 million.

And then there was this incredible story from 2020!

In what could well be a Breaking Bad: Dubai storyline, a Dubai sniffer dog pulled off the drug bust of the century after a 70-year-old was caught trying to smuggle 5.6 tonnes of Captagon pills into Dubai.

The elderly Arab man went undercover as a poor man for the plot as he tried to smuggle 35 million pills into the country. The bust was stopped at Jebel Ali with the drugs thought to have a street value of AED1.8 billion.
