E-commerce mogul Amazon have launched their Prime service subscription in the UAE, costing as little as Dhs 12 per month, for a limited time.
Amazon Prime now in the UAE
Hot on the heels of rebranding from Souq.com to Amazon.ae, the online shopping giant has rolled out their Prime membership program in the region. The service features free next-day delivery on thousands of local products, 6-9 day delivery on international orders, access to Prime Video, Twitch Prime and Prime Day, their popular Black-Friday discount day, featuring massive discounts and offers for 36 hours. The best part, Amazon Prime is available in Arabic too.

Dhs 12 introductory fee promotion
To mark the launch, Amazon.ae has rolled out an introductory 7 day free trial then just Dhs 12 per month, until 31st October. The fee will be raised to Dhs 16 per month thereafter. Their yearly subscription costs Dhs 140. Also, if you haven’t ever used the service, Amazon.ae is offering a free one-month trial.
Line-up of shows and games on Prime Video and Twitch Prime
Apart from the fast delivery services, two of the most talked-about features on Amazon Prime are the originals (series) on Prime Video and free gaming on Twitch Prime. Prime Video plays host to a line-up of award-winning originals, including ‘The Grand Tour,’ ‘Z: The Beginning of Everything,’ ‘Inside Edge,’ ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan,’ ‘Mirzapur’ and ‘All or Nothing: Manchester City.’ What’s more, Twitch Prime has a wide range of games in store, including ‘League of Legends,’ ‘StarCraft 2,’ ‘Path of Exile,’ ‘Warface,’ and much more.
