Netflix puts out a lot of great shows, but Breaking Bad has been a hard one to top since it ended in September 2013. It seems we’re in luck though! This October, fans will be in for another taste of the gritty series in the form of a Breaking Bad Movie.
Jesse Pinkman returns
Last month, Netflix had Breaking Bad fans reeling with excitement after it announced the upcoming released of El Camino. The film will see the misguided and lovable rogue, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) returning to our screens.
Set in Mexico, the movie begins where the critically acclaimed series left off. We’ll get to see Jesse making his escape from captivity as he heads to El Camino, with the law hot on his trail.
The cast reunite
The new movie will feature some old characters from the original series, such as Charles Baker as Skinny Pete, Matt Jones as Badger and Johnathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut.
Directed by Vince Gilligan, the crew began filming in Secret in 2018, so the trailer Netflix posted last month came as a huge surprise to unsuspecting fans. We can’t wait to watch this when it comes out on 11th October.
