Oh, here’s a fun celebration! If England manages to defeat Ireland in the Six Nations tournament next week, Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s Dhow & Anchor gastropub will be offering a free drink to patrons.

Free drink at Dhow & Anchor if England wins

If Rory Best and his men manage to defeat England during the Six Nations tournament, Ireland fans will get a chance to have a drink on the Dhow & Anchor’s boss. Plus, their boss promises to wear England’s jersey for an entire week if the rivals win. They joked, “In advance of the start of the Six Nations, our Irish boss Tadhg is so confident of Ireland beating England on the first weekend, that if he is wrong, he will have to buy the whole pub a drink plus wear an English jersey for the full week afterwards… who do you want to win.”

LED screen built for screening Six Nations

Just in time for the 2019 edition, Dhow & Anchor has built a huge LED screen on its terrace for screening all the live action. If you’re planning to head there for a live match, we recommend reaching early since they operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. The best part, the screen comes with a backdrop of Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah skyline.
