Rising British tennis star and recent US Open winner Emma Raducanu will make her UAE debut at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi.
Raducanu won the US Championship this year aged just 18, becoming the youngest Grand Slam winner since Maria Sharapova at Wimbledon in 2004.
The win turned Raducanu into an overnight star. And she’ll be heading to Abu Dhabi from December 16-18 to play at the International Tennis Centre at Zayed Sports City.

You’ll be able to catch Raducana as she takes on another leading female tennis player during the Mudabala Championship in Abu Dhabi.
The rest of the action is then dominated by the men’s Championship, with six of the world’s best male tennis players.
Tickets are AED 100 for adults and AED 50 for children, are available from ticketmaster.ae.
Staying in the sports world, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) has bought Newcastle United.
And the Saudi deal could make Newcastle United the richest football team in the world!
The Saudi investors have been linked with the Premier League team for 18 months. But after a deal that’s been on and off more times than a pair of trousers, it’s now been confirmed.
The deal is worth £300m and involves Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) taking a controlling 80-per-cent stake.
That would mean the end to current owner Mike Ashley and his controversial 14-year ownership of the club.
And it could be the end for current manager Steve Bruce.
