It might be a slightly different National Day celebration than most years, but that’s not going to stop the 49th UAE National Day from being a day to remember. Not least because it means a five-day weekend!
And the Burj Khalifa lit up in style ahead of the night with a stunning set of illuminations.
The 822m-tall building was lit up from 7-11 pm over the past few days with a stunning LED show.
The Burj wasn’t the only building to be lit up in serious style.
The towering ADNOC headquarters, Abu Dhabi Global Market, the historic Al Ain Municipality headquarters, Marina Mall, Khalifa University and the W Hotel in Abu Dhabi, were also lit up with a series of images, texts, and colour shows.
And come December 2, more buildings will be lit up including Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Emirates Palace and Mohammed V University in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain’s Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
Happy UAE National Day from the DubaiLAD team!
