If food is life? Then the Rue Royale Games in Dubai could be for you!

And do you have the social media influencing game to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Lyon for two to eat at some of the world’s finest restaurants?

If so, you should be very, very interested in the Dubai Rue Royale Games 2020. Billed as the region’s first-ever Influencer battle, the concept is pretty simple.

You have to influence as many friends and followers to book a table at the super-stylish Rue Royal restaurant on the Palm Jumeirah.

Each influencer will get a special code and a 25% discount to diners and the influencer who books the most diners in a month gets the prize.

So the restaurant wins with more bookings, your fans win with discounted prizes and you could win the grand prize.

Which is just a little bit epic.

What do you win?

An all-expenses-paid trip to Lyon for two with return flights plus a suite at the InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu.

You’ll also meet and eat with Chef Mathieu Viannay at his restaurant La Mere Brazier, which inspired the Rue Royale Restaurant.

Plus, you’ll enjoy meals at several fine-dining restaurants incl. L’Auberge du Pont de Collonges. Which is one of only 137 restaurants worldwide to achieve 3 Michelin stars.

Where do I sign up?!

The Dubai Rue Royale Games are open to any GCC-resident 18 years or older. You need to register online here before March 9, with the closing date April 9.

Will it work, though?

Influencing people can be an inexact science. You might have 100k Instagram followers, but how many were paid for? And what’s your interaction rate like?

This competition aims to provide a real test of what an influencer can do. At least that’s what Dr Huda Al Tukmachy, the director of Rue Royale Restaurant, thinks.

“I’m a restaurateur, but also a fan of science. I like to think that influencers can make a difference to a restaurant’s footfall, but I also like to see transparency and data-driven evidence of influencer marketing campaigns.

“That’s why I decided to challenge the region’s influencers to The Rue Royale Games. If we’re successful, it’s a win-win for both sides: The restaurant gets more footfall and the top-ranked competitors get a best-practice case-study showcase to convince others that their influencer marketing activities really produce results.”

So start rounding up the troops on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter and may the best Influencer win!
