Check Out This Year’s High-Octane Events At World’s Ultimate Strongman

There’s a great deal of hype surrounding World’s Ultimate Strongman which starts its 2019 competition next week on 25th October. Adding to the anticipation, they’ve unveiled an adrenaline-fueled line-up of challenges which the participants will face. Check out what’s in store for the strongmen…

The log press

First off, this edition will see heavyweight athletes square off lifting a colossal 180 kg log press. Check it out:

Stone run

Organizers claim this is going to be “the longest in Strongman history,” with heavyweight titans pushing their limits to lift a stone that weighs up to a whopping 200 kgs!

Yoke run

Perhaps one of the most gruelling challenges at the event, the stars will be seen running 15 metres while holding a crossbar, followed by lifting the WUS shield for the same distance.

Vehicle run

It doesn’t get any more than entertaining than this one! Of all the strongman events, there’s no denying the vehicle run is the most awe-inspiring highlight. Strongmen will be seen pulling a massive truck up to 30 metres, pushing their endurance and adrenaline to the max.

Loads of entertainment offerings

As if the action-packed line-up isn’t enough, WUS has loads of entertainment going on throughout the event, including a muscle car show, hot air balloon ride, vintage Land Rover challenge, UFC Gym Experience, double Wipe Out, mini obstacle courses and an insane eight-metre high bag jump.
