Coldplay have become the first band to release a music video using the Burj Khalifa thanks to their new single ‘Higher Power.’
Coldplay are one of the biggest pop bands in the world. They’ve headlined Glastonbury, played nearly 2,000 concerts around the world and had dozens of Number 1 hits.
And Coldplay have now become the first band to release a music single on the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.
The British four-piece teamed up with music streaming platform Anghami for the single. And for three minutes at the weekend, they lit up Downtown with their anthemic rock and roll.
And the single ‘Higher Power’ literally lived up to its name as it was beamed onto the Burj Khalifa. A clever marketing stunt done very well.
The big-budget video shows Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin dive into the future to an apocalyptic planet. While there, he starts dancing with holograms and aliens who all reveal their Higher Power.
If that happened to the DubaiLAD team, it would definitely be hummus.
