One of Dubai’s most Instagrammable beach clubs Cove Beach is reopening at a fresh new luxury destination this year.
Reopening at Caesars Palace Dubai
Las Vegas’ famed hotelier Caesars Palace is opening at Dubai’s latest man-made island, Bluewaters this year in partnership with Meraas Holdings, building a hotel and a resort. Cove 2.0 will, most likely, be nestled in the resort since it has beach access. What’s more, the luxury Las Vegas export will have a 450 meters long beach!
Previously, Cove was in Jumeirah Beach Hotel
Last May, the prominent hotel known for its wave-styled architecture closed its doors for a five-month renovation, followed by venues Dhow & Anchor and the Beach Lounge, while Cove Beach remained open until July. Besides, Jumeirah Beach Hotel may open this October with new makeovers on its 172 rooms, kids club and beachfront restaurants.
Mahiki Dubai may open in 2019
Nightclub hotspot Mahiki Dubai was the only party spot open in Jumeirah Beach Hotel after Cove Beach wrapped things up. However, the club’s management issued a sudden statement last week announcing they’re closing after seven years but will be back next year. The statement reads “Due to unforeseen circumstances during the renovation of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel; we are unable to operate for the next couple of months, so we have decided to use this occasion to close this seven-year milestone and embark on a new chapter as we prepare for what Mahiki will bring in 2019.”
