Creative freelancers and Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Dubai can now apply for a grant from the UAE government of up to AED50,000.
The Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development (MCKD) launched the program yesterday which is there to help those who have been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The application process opened yesterday and is available for just one week via the MCKD’s website.
The grant scheme is open to Emiratis and residents alike across Dubai, with the grants ranging from AED15,000 to AED50,000. And it’s open to freelancers or SMEs in the following fields.
Natural and cultural heritage
Audiovisual and interactive media
The committee will review each case, assessing the financial impact, with priority given to those most affected by the crisis.
