It’s a big moment for the Al Maktoum royal family, as Crown Prince Fazza, and his brothers, HH Sheikh Maktoum and HH Sheikh Ahmed got married in a traditional joint marriage ceremony in Dubai.

According to The National, Dubai Media Office confirmed His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, married Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum; His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, married Sheikha Mariam bint Butti Al Maktoum, and His Highness Ahmad bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, married Sheikha Midya bint Dalmouj Al Maktoum, on Wednesday, 15th May.

Wedding ceremony to be announced
HH Sheikh Hamdan and his brothers signed an official marriage contract in a traditional Islamic ceremony yesterday. The wedding, however, is yet to be announced and also if it will be a public or private celebration. (Here’s hoping for a public holiday and a grand celebration for everyone!)
Social media abuzz with congratulatory messages
With the weddings confirmed, a plethora of royal family members, media personalities and Emirati celebrities took to social media to congratulate the brothers. Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, said, “The nation is rejoiced!” While, Emirati singer Balqees Fathi congratulated, “God bless you and make it an auspicious marriage full of happiness and blessings.”
