If you’re a fan of Drake, you’re about to be shaken to the core! It appears he’s working hard on his OVO branding, rolling out a new collection for the UAE.
OVO merch with a UAE spin
Taking to Instagram stories, Drake gave a glimpse of his clothing brand, October’s Very Own (OVO), showing its popular owl logo partly covered in the colours of the UAE flag, for a hoodie. No other country has got its flag on the Canadian rap mogul’s fashion brand. The teaser was enough to get his UAE fans pumped up. Bring it on, Drizzy!

Drake’s love for Dubai is no secret
It’s undeniable that Dubai is a popular spot for stars and Drake is no stranger to the city. Be it hanging out with a Dubai Royal, flyboarding in JBR, or chilling with Rashid Belhasa’s exotic pets, he’s done it all. Fun fact, the 32-year-old rapper even gave our city a shoutout in his 2017 track, ‘Free Smoke,’ saying “I want to move to Dubai, so I don’t never have to kick it with none of you guys.”

2018 the year of Drake
Reflecting on 2018, it was a heck of a year for the Toronto native, with far more ups than downs. Besides his feud with Pusha T, Drake topped the rankings as the most-streamed artist in the U.S, recording 11.13 billion on-demand streams. Plus, thanks to the success of his album ‘Scorpion,’ he had the most Billboard Hot 100 entries last year, involving 35 entries.
