Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike Heading to Dubai for Desert EDM Festival

Electronic Dance Music giant Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are confirmed for headlining the upcoming GO971 festival at Al Sahra Desert Resort Amphitheater.


‘Bringing the Madness’ tour tickets were sold out within an hour

Purchasing tickets on the day of the festival wouldn’t be a good idea because their annual ‘Bringing the Madness’ tour witnessed 60,000 tickets sold within an hour. Tickets are available on  The only times when ticket sales roared were for concerts headlined by artists like Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Madonna and Coldplay. The duo performed at mega EDM festivals last year like Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival and Lootopia.

Pitbull, Ne-Yo and several A-listers have collaborated with the duo

Artists like Jennifer Lopez, Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Hardwell, Ne-Yo and Martin Garrix have collaborated with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike for remixes and for songs. Their most recent collaboration was with Snoop Dogg for the song ‘Gangster’ and are known for tracks like ‘Higher Place’ featuring Ne-Yo and ‘Complicated’ featuring Kiiara.

They’re the second-best DJs worldwide

EDM and DJ dedicated magazine DJ Mag has ranked the duo second in the ‘Top 100 DJs’ across the world after Martin Garrix. Their ranking is ahead of DJs like Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Tiesto and The Chainsmokers. Their songs have also been part of Billboard’s ‘Hot Dance/Electronic Songs’, with ‘Higher Place’ being their most successful track, peaking at 18th in 2016.

Two more DJs will be performing at the festival

Along with the duo, Wolfpack and Mattn will be performing at the festival playing the best of their electronic beats and tunes. Wolfpack is a duo too, known for their electro house music and had collaborated with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike for tracks like ‘Turn It Up’ and ‘Ocarina’ while Mattn has been prominent in the EDM scene since 2015 and is breaking barriers as one of the few female DJs. She’s known for the track ‘Cafe Del Mar’ and is performing at this year’s Tomorowland.
