Lionel Richie, Lauryn Hill and One Republic are playing at the Dubai Jazz Fest this weekend and the headline slot times have just been announced.
Each headliner will take to the stage between 10 and 10.30 pm each night. Support acts for each show will be on around 8 pm each night.
The festival kicks off on Thursday, February 26 with Miss Lauryn Hill headlining and Bruno Major on support.
Friday night meanwhile features Lionel Richie with support from Spyro Gyra. Check out our Lionel preview here, including five tracks he just has to play!
And the festival closes out on Saturday night with One Republic supported by Sammy Miller and the Congregation.
Support the support!
While Lionel, Lauryn and One Republic will take all the mainstage glory, the support acts are excellent this year. And if you’re looking for some jazz action, make sure to catch Spyro Gyra and Sammy Miller and the Congregation.
Spyro Gyra is an American jazz fusion band that have been working the jazz stages since 1974. Blending jazz, funk, RnB and all that good stuff together, they create a super soulful sound best described as pure sunshine.
Sammy Miller and the Congregation meanwhile bring a more experimental approach to jazz and are one of America’s most-hyped bands at the moment.
