Dubai malls and private sector to re-open at 100% capacity from Wednesday

It’s just been announced that malls and private sector work in Dubai will re-open at 100% capacity from Wednesday, June 3.

The news that Dubai malls were to re-open was announced by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management.

All shoppers and staff must wear face masks, observe physical distancing and use hand sanitiser.

Malls can now open between 6 am and 11 pm, but check with each mall for their new opening hours.

Anyone with ‘respiratory conditions’ or ‘compromised immunity’ should continue to work from home.

Malls must comply with the sterilisation measures including cleaning all facilities and common areas, providing hand sanitiser across the mall and its entrances. Plus screening people’s temperatures as they enter.

The UAE Government has also announced updated guidelines on when you need to wear a face mask.
