Dubai Police Received A Surprise Call This Eid From The Crown Prince

How nice! A police officer on duty was delighted when a UAE Royal called and wished him happy Eid on the day of the holy festival.

Dubai’s Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum called a police officer during the afternoon to wish him Eid Mubarak. He said “Assalamu alaikum and good morning to all of you, I just wanted to greet you and wish you a blessed Eid while on duty. I pray to God that you will have many happy returns”. He ended by saying “Your brother, Hamdan bin Mohammed.” The police officer replied by thanking him for the kind gesture.

Reception hosted to wish Eid Mubarak to the army

Celebrating the festive spirit, a reception was hosted wherein His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister of UAE and Sheikh Hamdan had a video call with the UAE army in Yemen, exchanging Eid greetings and wishes.

Holidays continue for the public sector this Eid

Private sector opens tomorrow after a three-day break while the Public sector continues to enjoy a day off tomorrow, followed by the weekend. To celebrate the last holiday, there’ll be fireworks going on across Dubai at La Mer, Al Seef, The Beach, JBR and at Dubai Festival City Mall, as well as at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island and Sharjah’s Majaz Waterfront.
