The first Kosher restaurant in Dubai is set to open at the Armani Hotel Dubai at the foot of the Burj Khalifa.
Armani/Kaf will follow Jewish dietary laws and will be supervised by the UAE’s official Rabbi, Levi Y Duchman.
The small 40-capacity fine-dining restaurant will open Sunday to Thursday from 6.30 pm to 11.30 pm. And it will be one of few 5* Kosher restaurants to offer in-room dining for those staying at the hotel.
The food is expected to have an international feel and taste, with classic dishes and a seasonal menu.
They’re also going to have a special take-away menu for Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath.
The Al Habtoor Group has also said it will introduce kosher food and drink at its UAE locations including the Hilton Dubai, Habtoor Palace and Habtoor Grand.
The news comes as the UAE and Israel formally signed an official peace treaty yesterday in America.
