Emirates has returned to 90% of its pre-pandemic capacity and is now running 270 flights to 120 destinations across the world.
A big part of that return to the skies is the news Emirates will be running 73 weekly flights to the UK by mid-October.
The UAE was recently added to the UK’s Amber List, opening up travel between the two countries.
And that move has seen a rise in demand for flights, which Emirates are only too happy to service after the last 18 months!
Alongside increased flights to the UK, Emirates has ramped up its capacity across the world. They’re adding to their roster of 70 flights to America with more departures to Houston, Boston and San Francisco. And there are more flights to Africa, with Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg getting daily and weekly flights.
So with borders opening up and the vaccine drive reducing infections, it’s time to start planning your next trip!
UAE will now accept international vaccine certificates
The UAE Government has announced international vaccination certificates will now be accepted in the UAE.
People can now register their vaccines if they were given abroad. And the list of approved vaccines includes AstraZeneca (or Covishield), Moderna, Pfizer, Sputnik and Sinopharm.
You can register your international certificates using the ICA app or website from August 15. It will then automatically update the Al Hosn App.
