Air travel giant Emirates is celebrating their partnership with Real Madrid, by unveiling a custom livery showcasing some of its star players.
Emirates flies Real Madrid in A380 aircraft featuring special montage
As main sponsors of Real Madrid, Emirates flew the team from Madrid to Abu Dhabi in an A380 aircraft with the custom montage displayed on it’s side. The 200 square-metre-long livery features their logo alongside top players like Gareth Bale, Marcelo, Karim Benzema, Luka Modrić and Sergio Ramos in action against a blue backdrop.
Custom livery to fly for six months
Emirates has been producing custom-made liveries for Real Madrid since 2015, as a tribute to their partnership with the European champions. This time, the eye-catching decals will traverse across the globe, with flights scheduled to touch down in cities like Washington, Nice, Mauritius, London, Sao Paulo and Gatwick.
Real Madrid in Abu Dhabi for FIFA Club World Cup
Returning as defending champions, Real Madrid will be eyeing a hat-trick of FIFA Club World Cup titles in Al Ain this month. Skipper Ramos believes there’s “no margin for error” since they are qualified for the semi-finals. He says, “It’s a short competition and there’s no margin for error. There’s a semi-final and then a final, and we want to bring the cup back home.” Their campaign begins this Wednesday when they take on Japan’s Kashima Antlers.
