Ethereum Co-Founder Becomes World’s Youngest Crypto-Billionaire

Proof that the world is changing before our very eyes is here as the cryptocurrency world has just celebrated its youngest billionaire thanks to Ethereum.

Vitalik Buterin is just 27 and a billionaire. It’s worth reading that again to let it sink in…

And as the co-creator of Ethereum has become the youngest crypto-billionaire and the second-youngest billionaire ever.

He started his digital business in 2014 but has really made his money in the last year as Ethereum has surged by 325%. It’s currently worth over $3,000.

And as he owns 333,520ETH, he’s now worth around $1.09 billion (£790 million).

It makes you wonder just what you’d done and achieved by the age of 27?

Vitalik was born in Moscow before moving to Canada and has been heavily involved in crypto-currency for years. He co-founded Bitcoin Magazine and was given a $100,000 fellowship by Peter Thiel, a fellow billionaire, and early Facebook investor.

And he’s clearly used the money wisely as Ethereum is now the second-largest digital currency in the world behind Bitcoin.

Amazingly, the prices continue to rise. Meaning Vitalik – and anyone else holding Ethereum – could be worth a lot, lot, lot more in the near future.
