Social networking giant Facebook has revealed plans of integrating WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram to common functionality.
Common functionality among WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger
If you’re a regular user of Facebook and Instagram, you may have probably noticed receiving Facebook friend request suggestions from a user you followed on Instagram, or vice versa. Similarly, the tech giant is planning to create an integrated system behind Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram. The apps will remain separate, however.

As per a report by New York Times, Facebook revealed their plans of working on an integrated system to unify the three apps, which is in its development stage currently. A rep from Facebook said, “We’re working on making more of our messaging products end-to-end encrypted and considering ways to make it easier to reach friends and family across networks.”
Facebook, who boasts a whopping 2.6 billion users per month, is working on details of the integrated systems. Their tech team is working on its process for now. Their rep said, “As you would expect, there is a lot of discussion and debate as we begin the long process of figuring out all the details of how this will work.”
