It’s been confirmed that fans will be able to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) games live across the UAE this year.
The IPL resumes in the UAE on September 19. And the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that fans will be allowed back in stadiums.
The IPL originally started in May in its native India.
But with a fresh Covid-19 wave hitting the country, the tournament was halted and they moved it to the UAE to finish.
And the games start again on September 19, with matches in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

The first match back will see current holders Mumbai Indians take on three-times winners Chennai Super Kings at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The stadiums won’t be at full capacity, but there will still be thousands of tickets on sale.
And you can grab tickets from tomorrow, September 16 from PlatinumList.
In total there will be 26 IPL matches held in the UAE running until the start of October.
The UAE grounds will then host the qualifier matches ahead of the final on October 15.
The cricket doesn’t stop there, however, you’ll be pleased to know.
As no sooner does the IPL end and the T20 Cricket World Cup starts in the UAE two days later!
