Fire breaks out on boat at Deira Harbour

On Tuesday evening, a fire broke out on a boat docked in Deira where fire fighters were called out to fight the blaze.

Civil Defence noted that the blaze was reported at 7pm and that the fire crews arrived within just three minutes.

Thankfully, no injuries or deaths were reported.

Marine Firefighters respond within 3 minutes

Marine fire fighters were the first to respond to the scene and were later joined by crews from two other fire stations.

The fire was brought under control at 7.56pm and commenced cooling operations.

According to reports, the boat was carrying cars.

The various teams started an evacuation and managed to bring the blaze under control.

Thankfully, no casualties were reported in this incident.
