Fleet Of Drones Fly In Formation To Create Image Of Sheikh Mohammed

A fleet of a hundred-odd drones flew in formation next to Burj Al Arab to create an elaborate image of Dubai’s Ruler, Vice President and Prime Minster His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

UAE never falls short of honouring its rulers and founding fathers. This week, the country took the fascination of drone technology and transformed it into art. Hundreds of illuminated drones hovered over the Jumeirah sky to honour the Ruler and Dubai’s Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Mohammed completes 50 years of service to UAE

Moreover, this week marked five decades of the Prime Minister’s service to the homeland. He thanked his followers, saying “I would like to thank all those who showed appreciation in the mark of my 50 years of service. I dedicated 50 years of my life serving my country; it gave me experience, wisdom and lots of love and peace.” A video by the Dubai Future Foundation traces his reign over the decades. Check it out:

Check out this stunning drone formation of Sheikh Zayed

Last year’s national initiative, ‘Year of Zayed’ honoured the UAE’s founding father, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the legacy he left on the country and on humanitarianism. In honour of the founding father, the Abu Dhabi corniche witnessed a formation of drones taking shape of the first President, during the closing ceremony of the Mother of the Nation festival.
