We’re not entirely sure why, but retired boxing champ Floyd Mayweather has agreed to fight Youtube star Logan Paul in a ‘super exhibition’ fight next year.
Floyd Mayweather is commonly accepted as one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in history. He’s won 50 consecutive fights and 15 world titles. And in doing so, he’s beaten some of the best in the world including Manny Pacquiao, Genaro Hernández, Victor Ortiz and Conor McGregor.
But he’s now taking on Youtube star Logan Paul in a big-money match-up on February 20 next year.
Mayweather is undefeated in 50 bouts. And he’s also insanely rich and always looking to get richer. Which most likely explains this match up.
Logan Paul has fought twice before.
His most recent fight was a defeat against rapper Olajide KSI Olatunji. So we really can’t see this one going the distance.
But having officially retired, he’s now only fighting in exhibitions as he told CNN earlier this year.
“I’m 100% sure that I’m not fighting against any boxer anymore.”
And let’s be honest, you really can’t call Logan Paul a boxer.
If, like the DubaiLAD team, you want to see a Youtuber get schooled by a professional, tune in on February 20.
