And icicles were discovered on plants near Abu Dhabi after nighttime temperatures dipped below 0 degrees.
The lowest temperatures were recorded in Abu Dhabi’s Raknah. -2°C is the lowest temperature recorded this winter.
And the cold weather is set to continue, with north east winds bringing colder winds. The cold weather snap is expected to last until Monday and maybe Tuesday.
There is good news as the freezing weather in the UAE is set to end. From Wednesday onwards, the weather is set to get warmer with partly cloudy skies and little chance of rain.
