Global Village open from today with new safety guidelines

Happy days, as Global Village is reopening today (Sunday, October 25) with a wide range of new health and safety guidelines in place.

Guests must wear face masks at all times. And people should maintain social distancing of 2m during their trip. There are also thermal cameras at all entrances and more than 600 hand sanitiser stations.

All wheelchairs, shopping trolleys and utensils will be sanitised after every use. And there will be a dedicated seating area near the main stage with social distancing measures in place.

Rides will also be running at reduced capacity and will also be cleaned after every use.

What’s new

Global Village is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year, meaning there will be plenty of new attractions.

Big new attractions include the Marvelous Mirror Maze and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not stand with over 180 exhibits.

There are three new pavilions to visit: Russia, Cambodia and Vietnam.

And there are now nearly 200 restaurants and cafes from across the world to try out.

There are also a host of new kids attractions including lots of new shows including Ben & Holly, PJ Masks and the Care Bears.

Tickets are AED15 with kids under three and adults over 65 free.

The park opens Saturday 2-11 pm, Sunday to Wednesday 4 pm-midnight and Thursday and Friday from 4 pm to 1 am.
