It appears that Lebanon’s famous nightlife phenomenon, White Nightclub, has been shut down, within days of opening.
White Saudi Arabia shut down?
Earlier this week, White nightclub stormed the headlines announcing its opening in Jeddah, and Ne-Yo, the Grammy award-winning artist with hits like ‘Beautiful Monster’, ‘Closer’ and ‘Sexy Love’ was lined up for a headline performance. However, according to some sources, the clubbing concept was ordered to close its doors within days of its opening, due to licensing issues. One of the parties, ‘Project X’ was “in violation of the legal procedures and regulations in force and was not licensed by the Authority and was originally a license for the establishment of another activity.”

Ne-Yo addressed the shutdown
Despite a no-show by the 39-year-old artist, he took to Instagram to address the shutdown. He said, “Apologies to the people of Jeddah. On the way to the venue, I was informed it had been shut down. Guess we’ll try it again another time.”
