It’s official: The wedding ceremony date for Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan and his brothers, HH Sheikh Maktoum and HH Sheikh Ahmed has been announced.

Images of the wedding ceremony invitation cards have been circulating on social media and the invitation reveals the wedding ceremony will take place on Thursday, 6th June, after the auspicious occasion of Eid Al Fitr, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Expect city-wide celebrations, fireworks and congratulatory messages on social media!

Here’s who the royals married
On Wednesday, 15th May, it was confirmed that the Royals were married in a traditional Islamic ceremony. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, married HH Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum; His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, married HH Sheikha Mariam bint Butti Al Maktoum; and His Highness Ahmad bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, married HH Sheikha Midya bint Dalmouj Al Maktoum.
Social media abuzz with wishes
Since the wedding was announced, a slew of Emirati celebrities, personalities and high-profile figures took to social media to congratulate the young royals. His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, said, “My heartfelt congratulations to my brother Mohammad Bin Rashid on the occasion of the marriage of his sons … Hamdan, Maktoum and Ahmad … A great joy throughout the country … I bless my three sons … Wishing them a long time of success and joy and overwhelming family happiness.”
