They say imitation is the best form of flattery, but we’re not sure the Burj Al Arab would agree after its iconic design was copied by a builder in India.
The seven-star hotel is one of the most recognised buildings in the world. And its incredible attention to detail has meant that it’s become a byword for luxury and style.
Which is presumably why the Burj been copied by a house-builder in India.
The knock-off Burj has gone viral thanks to a series of social media posts. Including this Tik Tok post which has been viewed nearly 300,000 times!

The hotel took three years to build and is currently being renovated so it can include a restaurant.
And according to guests, it’s become a must-visit tourist destination in the area.
Makhan Singh, from the Indian city of Jalandhar, said: “The rooms inside are good, and it is a very beautiful space. This is the pride of Punjab.”
