With Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed turning 60, a series of incredibly rare images that tell his life’s story has been released.
The third son of Sheikh Zayed, Mohamed bin Zayed was born in Al Ain and went on to become the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces from an early age.
The National and the the National Archives have released these images which you can see on the video below.
Mohamed bin Zayed was 10 years old when Abu Dhabi became part of the UAE in December 1971.
And since then he’s become an integral part of the country’s history. And now with these incredible photos, we can all get an amazing look into how he grew up and how the UAE developed.
One of the earliest photos, this is from the 1960s and shows the future Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed with Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed.
