Large group arrested after stripping naked on Dubai balcony

Dubai Police have arrested a large group of people stripped naked on the balcony of a Dubai Marina apartment.

The arrests were made under the lewd behaviour laws.

More than a dozen women stripped naked on the Dubai penthouse apartment balcony. Video footage from the event quickly went viral.

The video appears to be a marketing stunt for creating ‘pornographic material’ that’s banned from Dubai.

Police said a “criminal case has been registered against the arrested, and they have been referred to Public Prosecution for further legal action”.

“Dubai Police warns against such unacceptable behaviours, which do not reflect the values and ethics of Emirati society.”

Those arrested could now face up to six months in jail and a fine of AED5,000.

And Police warned those sharing the video footage could also be in trouble under UAE law.

“Any person who establishes operates or supervises an electronic site and/or transmits, sends or publishes through an electronic site. gambling or pornographic materials shall be punished by imprisonment and a fine of not less than Dh250,000 and not exceeding Dh500,000.”
