Laughter Factory get the last laugh as they return with full live shows

Comedy is the life-blood of life and it’s once more flowing in Dubai as the Laughter Factory return with two live shows this weekend.

After a few months of live-streamed comedy gigs which worked better than we hoped, the team are back in action once more.

And they’ve got two outrageously good venues to make you chuckle in.

First off, they’re taking over one of the side-rooms at the Dubai World Trade Centre this Thursday before finding their sea legs aboard the incredible QE2 theatre on Friday night.

Supplying the funnies will be Canadian-Filipino comic Jon Rosol, Portuguese comedian André De Freitas and Romanian stand-up Victor Patrascan and who insiders say is one of the hottest properties on the scene. Literally something for everyone there.

And after the year we’ve had, they’ve got no shortage of material!

Tickets for both Laughter Factory shows are AED160 and available from here.

Iconic Burj Al Arab design gets copied by a house in India

If you fancy another chuckle, check out this Burj knock-off.

They say imitation is the best form of flattery, but we’re not sure the Burj Al Arab would agree after its iconic design was copied by a builder in India.

The seven-star hotel is one of the most recognised buildings in the world. And its incredible attention to detail has meant that it’s become a byword for luxury and style.

Which is presumably why the Burj been copied by a house-builder in India.

The knock-off Burj has gone viral thanks to a series of social media posts. Including this Tik Tok post which has been viewed nearly 300,000 times!
