Lawyer gets trapped on a kitten filter during Zoom call to judge

A lawyer accidentally left on a kitten filter during his Zoom video conference call with a judge and had to confirm “I’m here live. I am not a cat.”

Ah, don’t you just love it when technology goes wrong and you’re left not feline good! Check out the purrfect video below.

After desperately trying to change the filter, he finally had to own up to the mistake and confirm to the judge he was not a cat but a real-life human.

And, as you’d expect, lawyer Rod Ponton’s kitten theatrics quickly went viral.

Judge Roy Ferguson of Texas’s 394th judicial district told Ponton: “I believe you have a filter turned on in the video settings. You might want to …”

The cat then breaks into to ask, slightly panicked, “Can you hear me, judge?”

Ferguson replies: “I can hear you. I think it’s a filter …”

“It is,” replies the cat. “And I don’t know how to remove it. I’ve got my assistant here, she’s trying to, but I’m prepared to go forward with it … I’m here live. I’m not a cat.”

Ferguson: “I can see that.”
