Dubai’s nightlife scene has been long-hyped among the best in the party map of the world, and there’s a new addition to the scene, Lebanon’s Sky 2.0.
Sky 2.0 opening at Dubai Design District
Hailing from Beirut, the popular nightlife destination will be opening its doors next Wednesday, 13th March to a capacity of up to 2,500 party people. Nestled at Dubai Design District, the Lebanese export will be having weekly club events, starting with reggae-themed ‘Oh Na Na’ every Wednesday, ‘Dream’ Thursdays and ‘Boom Box’ Fridays.
Since its inception in 2003, Sky Bar has been one of the most prominent nightclubs in Lebanon. They’ve hosted a line-up of A-list rap and hip-hop superstars, like Busta Rhymes, Pitbull, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Wyclef Jean at its busy rooftop, In 2015, they announced their closure due to a fire, but reopened its doors shortly after two years.
Busy party scene in Dubai
Sky 2.0 is the first nightclub to establish in Dubai this year. 2018 was a huge year for the nightlife scene, with the establishment of nightlife destinations like Las Vegas’ famed nightclub Drai’s DXB, NYC’s 1Oak, Secret Room Dubai and Mayfair export Toy Room Dubai. Plus, last year saw the opening of beach clubs like Cove Beach, Soho Beach and Playa Nomade.
