Toy giant Lego just got back at Tesla’s ‘Cybertruck’ concept in the most satirical way possible, joining in on the bants with their own ‘shatterproof’ version.
Tesla’s Cybertruck faces brutal trolling
Tesla chief Elon Musk recently debuted the all-electric Cybertruck claiming its “literally bulletproof” against a 9mm handgun. But when it came to proving its body’s strength, he was left red-faced when lead designer Franz von Holzhausen smashed the ‘Armour Glass’ windows leading to a massive crack in each one.
It was a huge fail for Musk, and the Internet went all-out trolling the vehicle. Even some big names got involved in the Cybertruck banter, making a mockery out of the ATV not only for its window fail but also for its appearance.
Ford wants to challenge Tesla in a towing challenge
In a bid to prove its power, Elon Musk dropped a video of the Cybertruck towing a 2,584 kg-Ford F-150 uphill, to which a senior Ford spokesperson challenged the Tesla CEO to a rematch next week. Check out the tug that triggered the challenge!
While the Cybertruck continues to face jibes over its ‘bulletproof’ strength and its freakish design, Musk boasts the ATV received a whopping 250,000 orders within five days.
Dubai Police ordered a Cybertruck too
As if a fleet featuring exotics and high-performance vehicles like the Lamborghini Aventador, Bentley Continental GT, BMW i8, Bugatti Veyron, Maserati GranTurismo, Aston Martin One-77, Dodge Viper, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 918, Ferrari LaFerrari, Lexus RC F and Pagani Huayra aren’t enough, Dubai Police revealed they’re ordering a Cybertruck wrapped in its green and white livery. Check it out:
What do you make of the Cybertruck? Love it or hate it? We’re on the fence but what we do love is all the banter that’s surrounding it. Can’t wait to see who wins the tug-of-war! Let’s see if Elon has to suffer another painful fail or whether he’ll be able to impress!
