Some of the UK’s most prevalent pop artists Liam Payne, Rita Ora and Little Mix have been billed for a massive concert at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on Saturday, 23rd March.
Liam Payne back after Global Village gig
Last year saw the UK pop star perform at Global Village in front of a crowd over 100,000, setting the record for the biggest concert turnout at the multicultural park. The 25-year-old artist caught the music world’s attention when he announced his arrival in 2017, releasing back-to-back hits “Get Low,” “Bedroom Floor” and “I Feel.” His biggest hit, “Strip That Down” peaked at number ten on Billboard.
Little Mix return after X Factor Arabia gig
It’s safe to say that the members of Little Mix have been one of the most prominent female-band of late, following the Fifth Harmony split last year. Over the years, they gave us chart-topping releases, such as “Black Magic,” “Shoutout To My Ex” and “Wings.” The girl group made their Dubai debut in 2015 for an invite-only gig to launch the 2015 edition of X Factor Arabia.
Rita Ora no stranger to Dubai
There’s no denying Rita Ora is the pop princess of the millennial generation. Ever since she first burst onto the scene in the turn of the decade, with “Hot Right Now,” there’s no looking back for the 28-year-old. Hit singles like “How We Do (Party),” “I Will Never Let You Down” and A-list collaborations like “Lonely Together” with Avicii and “Black Widow” with Iggy Azalea helped her become a mainstay on the singles charts. Also, she’s no stranger to the city, having performed at RedFest DXB in 2014 and 2016, at Base Dubai last March and for a party at Dubai Opera last September.
