Man found dead after watching ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

*SPOILER ALERT* Besides all the havoc of superheroes disappearing after Thanos gets all the stones in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, a 43 year old man in India died while watching the film.


Heart attack was the most likely reason

Firstly, the man was identified as Peddapasupula Baasha, 43 years old and had passed away in a cinema in Andhra Pradesh, India. According to a report by Times of India. He was described as “a worker at a construction site” and had watched the movie in 3D as part of “May Day” celebrations. The cinema staff found him seated after the post credit scene and once they opened his 3D glasses, he was found dead.


‘Avengers: Infinity War’ isn’t the only film where film goers were found dead

Two years ago, a 65 years old man was found dead after watching the film ”The Conjuring 2′ in Tamil Nadu, India. It was reported by Times of India that he felt chest pains during the climax of the film. By the time he was admitted to the Old Government Hospital, he had passed away. Also, in 2010, a Taiwanese man was found dead after watching the science fiction film ‘Avatar’.


Earnings for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ have grossed $1 billion worldwide

Breaking ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ record by one day, the latest Marvel Studios’ film earned $1 billion within 11 days, according to news website ‘Deadline’. What’s more, the film is yet to be released in China, a big market for Marvel Studios where its last film ‘Black Panther’ grossed $97 million.
