Middle East Games Con, the region’s biggest gaming festival, goes online for 2020

Good news gamers, as the Middle East Games Con is going digital for their 2020 festival with three-day broadcasts of Esports, awards, special guests and more.

The free, online event will run from October 29 until October 31. And it is the first time the event has been 100% online since launching four years ago.

Middle East Games Con will be broadcast live to laptops, mobiles and tablets, with free entry to all those who register. The full line-up for the festival is still to be announced, but past guests and brands include Playstation and Nintendo. And with both set to release new consoles this year, expect plenty of exclusives.

Plus there’s also the gaming side with past tournaments including Fortnite, PUBG, Call of Duty, Tekken, FIFA, League of Legends and many more.

First of its kind in the region

Finlay Parr, Event Manager, has said “Gamers can get ready for a first-of-its-kind gaming experience in the Middle East. Our Focus for this year and new for 2020 is the first-ever official Middle East Games Con Esports tournament and the gaming awards. In addition to these new and exciting activities for 2020, we are of-course bringing fans their favourite features of the Con to their homes.”
