Thanks to a daily average of 42,000 visitors, Global Village in Dubai is now one of the four most-visited attractions in the world.

Since opening in 1997, Global Village has attracted more than 90 million visitors. Which means it now competes with Disney around the world for the most-visited attraction in the world. Which is AMAZING. Obviously.

The numbers released by the Global Attractions Attendance Report break down the figures for average daily footfall

Disney’s Magic Kingdom – 57,000
Disneyland Anaheim – 49,000
Tokyo Disneyland – 49,000
Global Village – 42,000

Food, shopping, music and more

And let’s be honest. While we might not have Mickey’s ears or a Star Wars ride, Global Village does have a floating market, amazing street entertainment and 27 international pavilions. And that’s all for just AED15 entry.

Where else in the world can you pick up Yemen honey, Turkish ice cream and Uzbekistan’s national dish and then head on a Ferris wheel overlooking Dubai? Or jump on an abra, catch a show from a superstar and be part of a global community?

Record-breaking facts and figures

1.6 million square metres of land
More than 23,000 parking spaces
140,000 guests – most visitors in one day
3.5 million guests already this season

Bader Anwahi, Chief Executive Officer, Global Village, said: “Our contribution and commitment to the Dubai Tourism Strategy and the economic vision is evident in the sheer volume of guests that have experienced the unforgettable world we present at Global Village. As we celebrate welcoming over 90 million guests since the inception of Global Village in 1997, this motivates us to continually enhance and transform our facilities, operations, and activities to attract millions more.”
