Nate Diaz has taken to Twitter claiming he will not be fighting against Jorge Masvidal this weekend at UFC 244 for the hotly anticipated BMF belt
“I’m not gonna make it out to NYC for fight week next week because they say I tested with elevated levels that they say might be from some tainted supplements.”
Nate Diaz “Calls false on that”
Diaz explained he ‘calls false on that’ due to his strict vegetarian diet comprised of whole foods and whole food supplements.
The news comes as a shock as the fighter has been known to be an anti-doping crusader throughout his time in the UFC calling out the whole roster at times claiming “Everyone is on steroids”
Clearing his name
The fighter went on to say “So until UFC, USADA or whoever is F*****G with me fixes it, I won’t be competing. I’m not gonna play their game and try and hide it or keep quiet, as they suggested. I’m not going to have my name tainted as a cheater like these other motherf*****s who keep quiet until after the fight so they can get paid. F****n cheaters.
“I don’t give a f**k about some money over my dignity and my legacy.”
The UFC and Jorge Masvidal are yet to respond to the social media announcement leaving a huge gap in the main event of UFC 244, one of the most hotly anticipated events of the year
