Navigate Your Way Through A Dazzling Light Maze Set Up In Downtown

Emaar and Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) are bringing a new light maze experience in Downtown’s Burj Plaza.

Light maze

Remember the mirror maze John Wick entered in the second chapter? Expect something similar in Burj Plaza’s s magical makeover. The light maze features 2.2 metre-tall labyrinths lit with acrylic glass panels. They’ve also got lengthy LED rails that can create an impression of an Infinity room, with changing ranging colours of light.

More art installations in Downtown

From murals to pop up structures and festival-themed decorations, Downtown is clearly a favourite for those with an eye for art. The tourist hotspot is decorating the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard with dragon-artworks, in time for the Chinese New Year. There are more places for art installations in the city, like City Walk, Jumeirah beach road and 2nd December Street.

Dubai Canvas a hub for street art

Every year, Dubai Canvas brings some of the world’s top international and local 3D artists to collaborate on 3D mural projects. The colourful arts festival has witnessed an array of local, international and pop-culture-inspired artworks across venues like City Walk, JBR and most recently, La Mer. The festival goes in line in Dubai’s Ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision to transform Dubai into an open-air museum.
