Tanuki now open in Dubai Mall

Called Tanuki, the new Japanese fusion restaurant recently opened its doors in the space that was formerly occupied by The Noodle House, at Dubai Mall. You’ll find the chefs cooking a feast of Pan-Asian delicacies, notably Mame Nori makis, Spicy Hamachi Gunkan sushi, shrimp and chicken Hamachi Gunkan dim sums and seafood Funchoza teriyaki. Not to mention, they’ve got outdoor seating options with ‘Grammable views of Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain too.

Fusion fare

Foodies and fans of Japan, rejoice! Tanuki is open daily throughout the week. The fresh arrival is open from 11 am-12 am, from Sundays to Wednesdays, and from 11 am-1 am during weekends. Speaking about their opening, Alexander Orlov, co-founder of Bulldozer Group and the brain behind bringing Tanuki to Dubai, said, “The Tanuki menu is endowed with many philosophies, sayings, etiquettes, and beliefs, where a well-balanced diet of meat, rice, seafood, fruits, vegetables and spices are essential to make a person fully appreciate the taste of food and life.”
